Study day | Modes en Sorbonne

Situation : The first edition of the Sorbonne Fashion Day, which is set to become an annual event, highlights the dynamism of Sorbonne University students’ research in the history of textiles, clothing and fashion.

Created in 2013, the history in clothing and fashion class was granted to Pascale Gorguet Ballesteros. Every year, more than one hundred students are welcomed in License 3 and in Master 1. Approximately 50 master’s theses and Master 2, defended or in progress, testify to the vitality of this specialty within the Faculty of Arts of Sorbonne University (UFR History of Art and Archeology), thanks to a fruitful collaboration with the museums, and in particular the Palais Galliera, Fashion Museum of the City of Paris.
